Yippee! The sun has joined us.
After what seems like an endless drought of sunshine the sun returned last week in all it's glory as did Mr H.
Wanting to explore a little more, as well as completing part of my eldest daughter's summer homework (seriously, who gives a 10 year old homework over the summer holidays); we went looking for King Arthur at Tintagel. Bit of a climb but well worth the trek. One piece of advice, take a pack lunch, plenty of lovely spots to have a picnic.
And so the relaxation begins, recently we went exploring local beaches and came across the beautiful Porthtowan, with clear blue sea and golden sand, it could easily be mistaken for overseas. If the waves and sea prove a little cold there is a crystal clear tidal pool deep enough to swim.
And it obviously wouldn't be a holiday in our happy place without the obligatory visit to The Watering Hole, by day and night it is one of the most relaxed places you can imagine with good food and drink. The perfect place for your evening dip of the toes and marvel at everyone's handiwork throughout the day.
